Apsara Reddy, a remarkable transgender woman and accomplished senior journalist, carries editorial credits from numerous global media platforms. She holds a BA in Journalism from Monash University, Australia, and an MA in Economics and Broadcast News from City University, London.
Today, she serves as the Senior Editor of Deccan Chronicle after notable stints at BBC London, The Indian Express, and contributions to The Hindu, Times of India, and Forbes Magazine. Her advocacy for transgender representation earned her recognition from Shri Amit Shah in 2016. Moreover, she has addressed the European Parliament in 2017, demonstrating her influential role in journalism. Her work extends to documentaries, radio, and television, where she has consistently been a voice for change and empowerment.
