R. Gopalakrishnan is a veteran corporate leader, author, and business strategist with a career spanning over five decades in leadership roles at Unilever and Tata Sons. He has served as Chairman of Unilever Arabia, Managing Director of Brooke Bond Lipton, and Vice Chairman of Hindustan Lever, and was a director on the board of Tata Sons. He currently serves as an independent director at Press Trust of India (PTI).
An accomplished author, he has written twenty books on leadership, business transformation, and corporate success, including Jamsetji Tata: Powerful Learnings for Corporate Success and The Made-In-India Manager. He is also a Distinguished Professor at IIT Kharagpur and is actively engaged in mentoring startups, corporate advisory, and public speaking.
