Jehangir Palkhivala is a renowned Iyengar Yoga teacher and scholar of Upanishadic philosophy, with decades of experience teaching in Mumbai and internationally. A devoted student of Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar since the age of seven, he has developed a deep understanding of yogic principles and their philosophical foundations.
He has authored two booklets on specific yoga practices—The Mother Sequence – And How to Do It and The Morning Twelve—which provide structured approaches to yoga as a pathway to strength, balance, and well-being. Holding an M.A. in English Literature, Jehangir is also a poet and songwriter, having engaged in creative writing for over four decades.
