Shreevatsa Nevatia is an independent journalist based in Kolkata, with bylines in Hindustan Times, National Geographic Traveller India, and India Today. His work has also appeared in 1843 (The Economist’s lifestyle magazine), OPEN, and Fifty-Two.
His memoir, How to Travel Light: My Memories of Madness and Melancholia (Penguin, 2017), offers a deeply personal exploration of mental health and bipolar disorder. The book was shortlisted for the Shakti Bhatt Prize, cementing his role as an advocate for mental wellness and self-acceptance.
