Soni Sangwan is a journalist with over three decades of experience, having worked as a field reporter and editor with leading media houses. She has covered a wide range of beats, including crime, health, politics, education, defense, and internal security.
She served as Chief Reporter at Hindustan Times, where she wrote the column Freehand, and as Editor of MetroNow, with her column Delhiberately. She has also worked in television as Associate Editor at CNN-IBN and Deputy Editor at Headlines Today.
An alumna of Hindu College and a Freedom Forum Journalist-in-Residence at George Washington University, Soni is the co-author of Bring It On: The Incredible Story of My Life with Deepa Malik, along with Abhaya: Breaking the Silence, and Sahbhagini – A Handbook for Soldiers’ Wives.
