Sreenivasan Jain is an award-winning broadcast journalist, columnist, and author with a career spanning three decades. He began his journalism journey in 1995 at NDTV, where he rose to become Group Editor before resigning in early 2023.
Known for his fearless investigative reporting, he anchored the daily show Reality Check, which debunked official misinformation, and the weekly show Truth vs Hype, which explored political corruption, conflict zones, and social tensions.
His work has earned him prestigious accolades, including Journalist of the Year at both the Ramnath Goenka Awards and the Red Ink Awards, as well as international recognition at the World Media Summit in Beijing and the New York Festivals for his report on farmer suicides. He is the co-author of Love Jihad and Other Fictions: Simple Truths to Counter Viral Falsehoods (Aleph, 2024).
